Hydro gangway

Venus & De Waard was commissioned by KVSA to design and construct a movable gangway for the cruise terminal in the Port of IJmuiden. This so-called hydro gangway is adjustable, mobile and can be completely dismantled. This is the first and only gangway of its kind.

This unique construction is suitable for the use of wheelchairs and the physically challenged and will be put into use in May 2014.
